Answers to the questions we get most often.

We've collected answers to the fifteen questions we receive most frequently. If yours isn't covered here, write or call — we usually reply the same day.

01

How long does custom furniture manufacturing take?

Lead time depends on project complexity. A single table or wardrobe takes four to six weeks. A full kitchen — six to ten weeks. Complex interior projects or staircases — eight to sixteen weeks. We confirm a precise timeline after design approval.

02

How much does custom furniture cost?

Pricing depends on size, material, and finish. Indicative starting points: single pieces from €1,500; kitchens from €4,500; bedroom sets from €6,000; staircases from €6,000. Precise quotes follow a free consultation and site visit.

03

Which wood species do you work with?

We work with five wood species: oak (strong, pronounced grain), walnut (premium tone), ash (flexible, light), birch (local to Latvia), and pine (traditional, warm). See the Materials section for a detailed description of each.

04

Do you also install the furniture?

Yes, all our projects include delivery and on-site installation. Our cabinetmakers personally install pieces in Jūrmala, Riga, and throughout Latvia. On complex projects (staircases, full kitchens) installation can take two to five days.

05

What is the warranty on your products?

We provide a 24-month warranty on all our products from the date of handover. The warranty covers wood defects, hardware failures, and installation errors. It does not cover everyday wear or mechanical damage caused by the user.

06

Do you deliver outside Jūrmala and Riga?

Yes, we work throughout Latvia. Delivery outside the Riga region is planned together with the project — timeline and cost are agreed individually. We have completed projects in Liepāja, Valmiera, Daugavpils, and other Latvian cities.

07

Can I see examples of your previous work?

Our workshop portfolio is available in the Portfolio section (office, home, interiors, doors). For a complex commercial project example — fitting out Swedbank AS branches — see the Projects section. Where possible, we can also arrange visits to installed work at client premises by appointment.

08

Do I need an architect or interior designer?

Not always. If you already have a design project or drawings, we work as the manufacturer. If you don't, we can recommend trusted architects and interior designers we've collaborated with for years, or develop the design in-house for simpler projects.

09

What is the minimum order size?

We accept orders from a single piece (such as a table, nightstand, or shelf). We don't take on small woodworking or component jobs — our focus is on complete furniture projects where we can ensure quality control from start to finish.

10

Can I change the project after manufacturing has started?

Yes, but it may affect lead time and cost. Before materials are ordered, changes are usually made at no extra cost. After materials are ordered or production begins, changes may require new material purchases or rescheduling of production — we always inform the client before making any changes.

11

Is your furniture safe for children?

Yes. For all children's furniture we use only food-safe oils and waxes (Osmo, Rubio Monocoat) — no formaldehyde or toxic off-gassing. On children's projects we pay particular attention to rounded edges, wall-anchoring, and safety considerations.

12

How do I care for wooden furniture day-to-day?

Day-to-day — a soft, dry, or barely damp cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaners and abrasive sponges. Every six months — re-oil or re-wax the surface (depending on the finish type). Don't place hot items directly on the surface without a trivet. We provide detailed care instructions on handover.

13

What is the payment schedule?

Standard — 50% advance on contract signing, 40% on material purchase and production start, 10% after installation and client acceptance. For larger commercial projects the payment schedule is negotiated individually and set out in the contract.

14

Can you match new furniture to our existing interior?

Yes, we do this often. We can match wood species, finish, and style to existing pieces. Ideally we receive photos and, if possible, physical samples — so we can match the existing style precisely.

15

Do you work with commercial clients (bank branches, offices)?

Yes, commercial projects are a significant part of our workshop. Over thirty years we have completed projects for Swedbank AS, Samsung Electronics Baltics, Pasaules Optika, and other clients. Commercial projects are planned with strict deadlines, corporate requirements, and appropriate documentation.
